Our Gallery Depth Stretcher Bars

The stretcher bars that we use at Choose Canvas are Gallery Depth. Stretcher bars are the 4 pieces of wood that the canvas is wrapped round once it has been printed. There are various depths available but we only use the gallery depth ones which are the deepest. This means that all our prints have a real unique 3D effect.

Most canvas prints that are wrapped round thin stretcher bars just look like a normal picture & don’t project that 3D effect that canvas prints are designed for. Canvas prints were designed to stick out from the wall & offer a 3D effect & are not designed to lay flat on the wall.
